Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients:
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (if desired)

Method:
1. Grease 8 in. square cake pan.
2. Combine sugar, egg, oil and vanilla.
3. Beat well with mixer on low speed..
4. Sift dry ingredients together into mixture and blend well.
5. Blend in nuts and chips.
6. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
