2 c milk
2 egg yolks
1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c maple sugar (packed)
1 tbsp butter
Put milk in the top of the double boiler
and when hot add the beaten egg
yolks (to which has been added a little
of the hot milk). Mix the maple
sugar and flour together and gradually add
to the hot milk. Remove from
the heat and add salt and butter.
Cool. Pour into a baked pie crust and chill.
Serve with whipped cream.
