(hopefully many years away!)

Do not grieve for me my love,
When in death I leave your side;
Just give thanks to God above
For what we had.

Do not cry in pain for me
When you walk that lonely road,
For I rest from earth's great toil,
In God's abode.

Take pleasure still in earth's great joys -
The morning lark, the fragrant flowers,
The evening sun in hues of red,
The dancing showers.

And when you cross that bridge one day,
In Heaven's glory we shall be
Together, by the grace of God,
