CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BARS
Ingredients:
Crust:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Filling:
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flaked coconut
1 can (300ml) sweetened condensed milk

Topping:
1 pk. (227g) light caramels
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate

Method:
1. Combine flour and brown sugar.
2. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
3. Press firmly into a greased 9 x 13 cake pan.
4. Bake at 350 deg. for 12 - 15 minutes.
5. Sprinkle pecans and coconut over crust.
6. Spread condensed milk on top.
7. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 - 30 minutes.
8. Cool for 10 minutes.
9. Heat the caramels and milk over low heat, stirring often until melted.
10. Drizzle over filling.
11. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, cool and cut into bars.
