APPLE CRISP

6 c apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Topping:
1 c flour
1/3 c butter
1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method:
Combine apples, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon and place in buttered
baking dish.  Mix flour and butter until it crumbles.  Add sugar, cinnamon,
and rolled oats and mix well.  Spread over the apples and pat firmly.
Bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender and topping is brown.
Serve warm with cream, custard or ice cream.
